PATAGONIA | Ultima Esperanza
Climbing is natural for humans. Toddlers climb before they can walk and kids of all ages climb trees, fences, buildings and rocks! It’s on the rocks where climbing reaches it’s full potential and becomes a very liberating experience. By overcoming the instinctive fear of heights and focusing on the movement we can be present in the moment, something very hard to do these days with our busy schedules and information overloaded minds.
The region Ultima Esperanza, Chile, has different types of rock, mainly sedimentary like conglomerate, limestone and sandstone and offers great variety of sport climbing routes that range in difficulty from 5.3 to 5.14 on the Yosemite decimal system rating scale. This means that climbers of all ages and abilities can recreate and challenge themselves in this amazing area.
