PATAGONIA | Magallanes | Ultima Esperanza
The majestic andean condor is one of the largest flying birds in the world, with a wingspan of over 10 feet. It’s also one of the most longevous, living up to 60 years in the wild. They play an important roll in the ecosystem as they clean up the environment after predators such as the puma and the fox.
The province of Ultima Esperanza in Chilean Patagonia is home to some of the largest colonies of andean Condor in the world, thanks to the remoteness of the nesting sites, the abundance of food and the respect of their habitats.
Our condor hike takes place at privately owned areas where the condors can live their long lives in peace, and where our guest can easily observe them, sometimes from a close distance.
We invite you to join us on this wonderful excursion where you will be able to admire this truly majestic birds.
